5. The lighting of Advent Candle: Mike and Teruko Castell

1. The first candle represents hope.  The second, is peace.  The Third, Joy.  The Fourth, Love.   Today, the center, represents Christ Himself.  Emmanuel - God is with us.

   Jesus, your moment has come. In the dark of the womb, you waited. Bathed in the balm of the star, you rest. Into a world sorely in need of your light, you are born.

   When you knock on our door looking for a room, may we welcome you? Like the herald of your birth, call us to share your good news first with those who are poor, excluded, and afraid.

   All: The light shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot put it out.

   Light the Christ candle and all four Advent candles.
   The love of heaven has come to Earth. The call of Christ begins with a baby’s cry. Listen and respond.

   All: We light the Christ candle. May it light the way.

Inter-Church Choir Special Will sing two songs from the 2022 Christmas Musical.  Christmas Concert on Dec 16 and 17, 6pm.  It's not too late to join the rehearsals every Monday, 6pm at Mililani Baptist Church.

Aloha Churches.  We have an opportunity once more to bless our immediate community with gospel messages and music through these exciting seasons of Thanksgiving and Christmas.   Below are some suggested plans.
